Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, direct nursing care by following established clinical protocols to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and wellness.
  • Implement and champion personalized care plans, continuously monitoring patient progress to adapt treatments and optimize health outcomes.
  • Track and communicate patient conditions in real-time, serving as the vital link between patients, families, and the care team to ensure seamless updates.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams, acting as the primary advocate to align physicians, specialists, and support staff for a unified approach to healing.
  • Lead proactive discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team to guarantee patients transition home safely, smoothly, and with total confidence.
