About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Developmental Pediatrics department at Cedar Park Medical Center. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm. The nurse will deliver exceptional direct patient care by executing personalized care plans in accordance with high organizational standards to support optimal recovery and comfort. They will monitor and advocate for patient health by tracking changes in condition, maintaining precise records, and proactively communicating updates to the care team. The role also involves leading interdisciplinary care coordination to ensure seamless collaboration across therapies, physicians, and specialists for holistic patient support, and driving proactive discharge planning in partnership with the healthcare team, ensuring patients and their families are fully prepared and supported for a smooth transition home.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.
  • 3–5 years of dedicated nursing experience with a proven track record as a dependable, hard-working healthcare professional.
  • Highly motivated team player offering strong adaptability, flexibility, and a collaborative approach to patient care.
