About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse within the Vascular Interventional Radiology and Vein Solutions department at Ascension Medical Group in Indianapolis, IN. The position is full-time, working Monday-Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. The nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor and record patient conditions, serve as a primary coordinator for patient care across disciplines, carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

Prior podiatry experience preferred. This position will be utilized to support the back office operations of the podiatry patients including care coordination.

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
