About The Position
This role is for a Registered Nurse in a clinic setting specializing in Cardiovascular Surgery at Saint Thomas Heart in Nashville, TN. The position is full-time, working days. The nurse will coordinate patient care from referral through procedure and follow-up, manage complex clinic, testing, and procedure schedules, collaborate with the echocardiography team, and assist with urgent scheduling changes and time-sensitive procedural needs.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
- 3+ years of cardiac experience
- 3+ years of clinic nursing experience
- Structural Heart or Valve program experience
- Experience with google and excel
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care from referral through procedure and follow-up.
- Coordinate complex clinic, testing, and procedure schedules.
- Work with the echocardiography team to ensure specialized imaging and TEE measurements are completed and available.
- Assist with urgent scheduling changes and time-sensitive procedural needs.
