About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in an OB/GYN clinic at Ascension Medical Group in Indianapolis, IN. The position is PRN (as needed) and scheduled for days. The nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate care among different disciplines, carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

Bachelors in Nursing preferred
3+ years Obstetric or High Risk OB experience preferred

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
