About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Occupational Health and Wellness department at Ascension Medical Group Clinic in Kokomo, IN. The nurse will provide prevention, recognition, and treatment of occupational illnesses and injuries for StarPlus employees. They will deliver nursing care in compliance with federal and state regulations and StarPlus health service policies and procedures. The role involves performing clinical assessments, managing medical emergencies, and coordinating follow-up care or referrals. Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records is crucial, as is collaborating with safety, HR, and environmental teams to identify and mitigate workplace health risks. The nurse will work autonomously with minimal supervision, often serving as the primary on-site medical provider.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire

Experienced RN with Occupational Health experience preferred.
