About The Position

The Village at Rockville, a National Lutheran Communities & Services community, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse to lead the evening-shift nursing team and provide exceptional care to older adults. The role provides clinical oversight, supports and mentors care team members, and promotes a culture of compassion, dignity, and excellence. This is a full-time evening-shift position with compensation of $44.00–$57.00 per hour; the final offer reflects demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and professional background.

Requirements

Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland.
Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, leadership, and critical-thinking skills.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Be committed to person-centered care delivered with compassion and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or senior care.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and clinical oversight during the evening shift.
Assess resident needs and coordinate individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards.
Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, GNAs, and other care team members.
Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support quality outcomes.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.
Serve as a resource, mentor, and role model for nursing staff and promote a positive team environment.
