About The Position

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab provides comprehensive care to patients and their families. Nurses listen to and assess patients, develop plans of care, implement and reassess those plans, and evaluate each patient's care. This full-time role is based at Franciscan Health Munster Campus and works four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with an on-call requirement. Travel is never or rarely required.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing/Patient Care required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the state licensing board in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• 1–2 years of RN experience required.
• If education is a diploma in Nursing, an active RN license and recent 3–5 years of acute care experience are required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing/Patient Care preferred.
• Cath Lab, interventional radiology (IR), emergency room (ER), intensive care unit (ICU), intermediate care unit (IMCU), or surgery experience preferred.
