About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab at a Short Term Acute Care Hospital in Hanford, CA. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/28/2026. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care, supervising staff, collecting and analyzing patient data, implementing care plans, and collaborating with patients, families, and the healthcare team. The nurse will also delegate tasks and maintain evidence-based care within an acute care setting.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required
AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required; ACLS (or ARC-ALS) required
At least two years of recent RN experience in the field
Ability to work in an acute care environment, including a cath lab setting, with the appropriate credentialing

Nice To Haves

Acute care and/or cath lab experience preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment.
Collect relevant data, analyze assessment information, and contribute to the development of a care plan aimed at achieving patient outcomes.
Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment; evaluate progress toward outcomes.
Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Delegate tasks appropriately and maintain safe, evidence-based care within an acute care setting.
