Registered Nurse Case Manager (1099) – Denver, CO & Surrounding Areas
About The Position
The IMA Group is seeking experienced Registered Nurse Case Managers (RN) to provide Workers’ Compensation case management services throughout the Denver metropolitan area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced field case managers who value autonomy, flexibility, and the ability to make a meaningful difference in injured workers' recovery and return-to-work outcomes. The IMA Group has partnered with individuals, employers, carriers, and government agencies to improve health and disability outcomes nationwide for over 30 years. Their Government Services Division supports local, state, and federal agencies through professional and objective medical and psychological evaluations. Their Payer Services Division serves carriers, TPAs, public entities, and employers across the workers' compensation, disability, liability, and auto markets. Their Clinical Research Division conducts Phase II-IV clinical trials through a nationwide network of research sites and virtual capabilities.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Colorado RN license
- Minimum 3 years of Workers’ Compensation Field Case Management experience
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally within the service area
Nice To Haves
- CCM, CDMS, CRRN, or related certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinate medical care and treatment plans for injured workers
- Attend medical appointments and provide onsite case management support
- Monitor treatment progress and facilitate communication among all parties
- Collaborate with providers, claims adjusters, employers, attorneys, and other stakeholders
- Prepare timely, detailed case management reports and documentation
- Support return-to-work planning and positive recovery outcomes
- Manage cases independently while maintaining exceptional service standards
