Registered Nurse Case Manager (1099) – Denver, CO & Surrounding Areas
About The Position
The IMA Group is seeking experienced Registered Nurse Case Managers (RN) to provide Workers’ Compensation case management services throughout the Denver metropolitan area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced field case managers who value autonomy, flexibility, and the ability to make a meaningful difference in injured workers' recovery and return-to-work outcomes. The role involves coordinating medical care, attending appointments, monitoring treatment progress, facilitating communication among stakeholders, preparing reports, and supporting return-to-work planning. The position offers a hybrid field and remote work environment with flexible scheduling and case assignment opportunities.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Colorado RN license
- Minimum 3 years of Workers’ Compensation Field Case Management experience
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally within the service area
Nice To Haves
- CCM, CDMS, CRRN, or related certification
Responsibilities
- Coordinate medical care and treatment plans for injured workers
- Attend medical appointments and provide onsite case management support
- Monitor treatment progress and facilitate communication among all parties
- Collaborate with providers, claims adjusters, employers, attorneys, and other stakeholders
- Prepare timely, detailed case management reports and documentation
- Support return-to-work planning and positive recovery outcomes
- Manage cases independently while maintaining exceptional service standards
