About The Position

The Travel RN Case Manager oversees and coordinates patient care within a dedicated case management department that includes RN Case Managers and Social Workers. The role is based in Port Charlotte, Florida, and has an expected shift of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position requires working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. The expected patient ratio is one RN Case Manager to 20–25 patients.

The successful candidate will be patient-centric and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The role is performed in a supportive environment that uses advanced technology and innovative practices and encourages professional growth and collaboration.

Requirements

• Hospital case management experience.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with InterQual.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Meditech.
