About The Position
The IMA Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Case Manager (RN) to provide field-based Workers' Compensation case management throughout the Denver metro area. This independent contractor opportunity is ideal for experienced field case managers who enjoy autonomy, flexible scheduling, and making a meaningful impact on injured workers' recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Colorado RN license
- Minimum of 3 years of Workers' Compensation Field Case Management experience
- Excellent communication, organization, and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Denver area
Nice To Haves
- CCM, CDMS, CRRN, or similar certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Attend medical appointments and provide onsite case management services
- Coordinate treatment plans with physicians and healthcare providers
- Communicate with adjusters, employers, attorneys, and other stakeholders
- Monitor medical progress and identify barriers to recovery
- Develop and support return-to-work plans
- Prepare timely, detailed case reports and documentation
- Manage your own caseload across the assigned territory
