About The Position

The Cardiovascular Unit provides professional nursing care to out-patients for planned procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Non-Invasive Cardiology, Interventional Radiology Lab, and a variety of Radiology procedures. This dynamic 15 bay unit provides Pre- and Post-Procedural care. You will be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient & family-centered care with responsibility for treating a diverse patient population. We are a Level I Tertiary care hospital, providing care with state-of-the-art technology. You will be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient & family-centered care. We also support the professional development of our nurses, providing opportunities for education through conferences and Board Certification. Our nurses also have the opportunity to advance through the Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP). Our unit is open Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. On-call: There are occasional On Call shifts from 6:30 p.m.- 9:30 p.m depending on the FTE. The 1.0 FTE position requires a maximum of two call shifts/week. This is a bargaining union position. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse license
  • 1.0 FTE position requires a maximum of two call shifts/week.
