About The Position

This role involves leading the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in the Cardiothoracic ICU, ensuring all clinical actions meet the highest safety and quality standards. The nurse will advocate for patients by monitoring and communicating real-time health changes to the care team, acting as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary care, and managing the discharge planning process to ensure patients have the necessary resources for a safe transition home.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
