About The Position

This role requires a Registered Nurse with a South Dakota or compact RN License. The position involves Epic Charting and a minimum of 1.5 years of RN experience. Specific experience in stress testing is mandatory, with 6 months to 1 year of recent experience required. The nurse must possess BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications. Proficiency in peripheral IV starts and basic assessment skills is necessary. The role also involves managing common Intermediate Care (IMC) level drips such as Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Levophed (up to 5 mcg). Training will be provided for less common drips like esmolol or other Betablockers or antihypertensives if the traveler has not previously managed them.

Requirements

• South Dakota or compact RN License
• Epic Charting experience
• 1.5 years of RN experience
• 6 months to 1 year of recent stress testing experience
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• Peripheral IV start skills
• Basic assessment skills
• Comfortability with management of common IMC level drips (Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Levophed up to 5 mcg)

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Perform Epic Charting.
• Conduct stress testing.
• Manage common IMC level drips including Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Levophed (up to 5 mcg).
• Administer esmolol drips or other Betablockers or antihypertensives as needed (training provided for less common drips).
• Perform peripheral IV starts.
• Conduct basic patient assessments.
