Registered Nurse - Cardiac 400 E South - Full Time - Night Shift
About The Position
CoxHealth South is seeking a Registered Nurse for their 4E Cardiac Telemetry unit. This is a 12-hour night shift position where nurses care for a variety of patients with complex medical conditions. The unit is described as having a fun-loving staff that is willing to help each other, making it a place where you can have fun while making a difference. The role involves managing patient care for those experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures, including assessing patient condition, administering medications, changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, keeping records, and providing patient and family support and education. The Registered Nurse is expected to maintain a wide array of medical care knowledge to care for a diverse patient population.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- RN license active in the state of Missouri
- BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Previous nursing experience
- ACLS is preferred and will be required within the first 6 months
