About The Position
CoxHealth South is seeking a Registered Nurse for their 4E Cardiac Telemetry unit. This is a part-time, day shift position with a weekend option, offering 12-hour shifts. The unit is a telemetry med-surg unit that cares for a variety of patients with personalized needs and multiple comorbidities. The team is described as fun-loving and supportive, aiming to make a difference in patients' lives while fostering a fun work environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
- RN license active in the state of Missouri.
- BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate effective leadership abilities.
- Exhibits valuable time management skills.
- Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Previous nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Managing the care of patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures.
- Assessing patient condition.
- Administering medications.
- Changing dressings.
