Registered Nurse - Cardiac ICU
About The Position
Saint Luke's Hospital is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. This is a Full Time position, 36 hours per week, working night shifts. The unit offers supportive leadership, with Nursing Assistants to assist, and Intensivists and NP's working alongside RNs during shifts. Respiratory Therapy is also available at night. Extra incentives are available for picking up additional shifts. The Registered Nurse is accountable for utilizing the nursing process, performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and supervising other patient care staff. They are responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Registered Nurse - Various
- Associate Degree - Nursing
