RN - Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab - Full Time

We provide the necessary skills and tools for career success. The Cardiac Catheterization Lab specializes in cardiac catheterization, vascular and structural heart procedures, and electrophysiology. Nurses in this unit grow professionally, gaining critical skills for complex cardiovascular patient care. This position is part of a team-driven atmosphere where providers and nurses work closely together to deliver exceptional patient care, with opportunities to be part of the newest innovations and have a direct impact on patient health.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

- Perform procedures such as Angiograms, Central line placement, Left and right heart catheterizations, Inferior vena cava filter placement and removal, and Valve replacement.
- Work as part of a team-driven atmosphere with physicians and other providers.
- Participate in on-call shifts as required.
