About The Position
The Birthing Center is a LDRP unit in a small community hospital with approximately 325 births per year. We focus on physiological birth and our staff are all trained in labor, delivery of the newborn, transition of the newborn, post-partum care, lactation support, and stabilization of the newborn who is awaiting transportation to a facility with a higher level of care.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- Training in labor, delivery, newborn transition, post-partum care, lactation support, and newborn stabilization
