About The Position

At Kennesaw, we are seeking a PartTime Nurse: 1st Shift (6:45AM-3:15 PM), includes every other weekend and some holidays. RNs: Rates start at $35/hr with additional $ given for experience. LPN: Rates start at $28/hr with additional $ given for experience. Additonal $3.00/hr pay on Weekends! Being an RN at Devereux has its Advantages! As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct care nursing and will also be responsible for administering medications, providing medical treatments, completing admissions, and actively engage with the youth served and their families/guardians.

Requirements

• Completion of accredited RN program and current Georgia Nursing License required.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
• Weekend availability and holidays required.
• Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.

Nice To Haves

• Six months to one (1) year of Nursing experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.

Responsibilities
