Serving adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations, our clinic brings together psychiatrists, psychologists, APPs, nurses, and support staff to provide coordinated, comprehensive behavioral health services. With a blend of in-person and telehealth appointments, you'll have the opportunity to help expand access to care while working alongside experienced and dedicated professionals.

Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Graduate of a program for licensed practical nurses
  • Two years’ experience in nursing
  • Psychiatric nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Participates in patient care teams delivery of personalized, efficient care with respect for patient's spiritual and cultural difference'.
  • Provides patient assessment and participates in discharge planning while maintaining a therapeutic partnership with patient, family and caregivers.
  • Demonstrates knowledge with injections.
  • Initiates patient and family teaching plan focused on a patient's lifetime.
  • Administers medication via intramuscular injection.
  • Implements physician orders and records physician verbal orders.
  • Collaborates with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Makes decisions and judgments in preventing analyzing and resolving patient care or other problems.
  • Reports patient status, refers problems when necessary and anticipates situations that prevent/minimize adverse outcomes or less than optimal outcomes.
  • Follows the established plan of care and collaborates with members of the patient care team as needed.
  • Directs care team in absence of Practice Manager.
  • Assists physicians and mid-level provider in completing prescription renewals electronically.
  • Documents in the electronic medical record patient vitals, updates med lists, assists in completing electronic flow sheets and documents electronically all treatments, injections, etc.
  • Scan lab results and other related medical data to electronic medical record as needed.
