About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Behavioral Health department at St Francis Hospital, as part of the Associate Travel Program. The position involves providing care to behavioral health patients, conducting bio-psychosocial assessments, developing nursing plans of care, participating in treatment planning conferences, leading group therapy sessions, and monitoring patient responses in collaboration with the treatment team.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
1+ year of recent experience in Behavioral Health in acute care setting

Responsibilities

Provide care to behavioral health patients per facility policies.
Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments and develop nursing plans of care aligned with the master treatment plan.
Participate in conferences to plan and revise age-specific and problem-specific goals and interventions.
Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions.
Monitor patient responses and collaborate with the treatment team to adjust nursing plans and objectives as needed.
