About The Position

Ascension St. Francis Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Behavioral Health department. This part-time, night shift position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating care across disciplines, and managing patient discharge planning needs. The role involves assessing and documenting patient conditions and carrying out physician and nursing orders.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
