Banner Behavioral Health Hospital (BBHH) in Scottsdale, AZ was remodeled and expanded in 2017, providing new, state-of-the art units for our patients and staff! Banner Behavioral Health Hospital is a voluntary facility for adults and adolescents. We are dedicated to providing safe, confidential, and compassionate treatment with customized treatment plans to meet each patient's needs. As a Resource Registered Nurse, you will provide flexible nursing support across the campus, with primary assignments in Central Intake and Assessment. In this role, you will assess patients, facilitate admissions and placements, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and appropriate patient care. Based on operational needs, you will also float throughout the campus, supporting various departments and patient populations while maintaining high standards of clinical care and patient safety. We currently have full-time Night Shift positions available - 3, 12 hour shifts per week. Night Shift Hours are 6PM-06:30AM, with rotating weekends and holidays. You will also have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool. For more than four decades, Banner Behavioral Health has provided 24/7 crisis intervention and therapeutic services in a medically safe, recovery-focused environment. Banner Behavioral Health has 156 licensed inpatient beds and is located in Scottsdale, AZ. Our focus is on adults and adolescents dealing with mental health and/or chemical dependency issues who voluntarily seek help. Our highly skilled and compassionate staff are dedicated to providing a therapeutic healing environment and excellent health care experience. POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
