About The Position

This role involves working the bed board and assigning beds to all patients who stay overnight. As a Placement Nurse, you will collaborate with all units and their leadership. This is a non-bedside role where you will implement and monitor patient care plans, monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. You will serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
At least 2 years experience as a bedside RN

Nice To Haves

prior ED, ICU, and/or bed placement experience preferred
