About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required for employees hired after 9/1/2020 (those who were hired prior to 9/1/2020 are grandfathered).
  • Registered Nurse License-NYS.
  • Current and valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Current and valid ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP, as required by population, within one (1) year of Hire.
  • Knowledge of standards of practice for all areas of patient care.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in Nursing.
  • 1 year Endoscopy Experience

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates his her own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.
