About The Position
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Antepartum (Women's Health) for a Full-Time Nights position. The Antepartum Unit is a specialty unit dedicated to caring for complicated, high-risk pregnancies. Patients admitted to this unit may have diagnoses such as diabetes, pre-term labor, pre-term rupture of membranes, pre-eclampsia, addictions, mental health issues, abnormal bleeding, and other medical and obstetrical complications. The unit provides comprehensive perinatal care and supports patients throughout their childbirth journey, who may stay for extended periods. Responsibilities
- Manage care of high-risk obstetrical patients admitted to the Antepartum Unit.
- Provide comprehensive perinatal care to patients with a variety of diagnoses.
- Support patients throughout their childbirth journey, ensuring necessary care is provided.
