About The Position
The Registered Nurse Ambulatory functions as a member of the Diabetes & Endocrinology Care team, conducting duties such as: phone triage, patient education, scheduling appointments, contacting patients with results, prescription refill, referrals, care coordination, nurse visits which do involve injections, and other related tasks as needed. The position is located in Kokomo, Indiana.
Requirements
- Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- One year or more of nursing experience required.

Nice To Haves
- Endocrinology or internal medicine experience preferred.
- Phone triage experience a plus.
- EPIC experience a plus.
