About The Position

This is a 100% FTE position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in an ambulatory surgery setting. The role involves providing safe, individualized patient care using acquired knowledge and skills in perioperative nursing. The RN will assume responsibility for the management of the operating room to which they are assigned. The outpatient OR setting performs procedures on patients of all ages across various surgical specialties including ENT, Cataracts, Pain, Hand, Foot, Ortho (scopes), General, some GYN, and Plastic surgery (e.g., breast augmentations, reductions, abdominoplasties, liposuctions, gender mastectomies).

Requirements

Associate's Degree in Nursing Required
6 months of relevant clinical experience Required
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months Required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
Recent relevant Operating Room experience Preferred - prefer candidates with 1 year of OR experience.

Responsibilities
