About The Position

The Ambulatory Registered Nurse functions as a member of the Sleep Medicine team, conducting duties such as phone triage, patient education, scheduling appointments, referrals, prescription refill, care coordination, rooming patients, emergent patient assessments, assisting with sleep study downloads, and other related tasks as needed. The office is located on the north side of Indianapolis, Indiana and the nurse will work onsite.

Requirements

  • Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

  • Accountable and self-directed.

Nice To Haves

  • One year or more of nursing experience preferred but will consider newer grads if already licensed as a registered nurse.
  • Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred.
  • Phone triage experience a plus.
  • EPIC experience a plus.
