Registered Nurse - Adult Home Health
About The Position
Join the Adult Home Health team as a home health nurse at the University of Vermont Health - Home Health and Hospice. You will work alongside a diverse, supportive team of nurses, physicians, and specialty practitioners who care about their patients and community. This role is crucial in promoting wellness and preventing hospitalizations. The culture is rooted in teamwork, professionalism, and mutual respect. As a full-time position, the schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm, with one rotating weekend day every 5-6 weeks (compensated by not working a weekday that week). Community Health Nurses provide skilled, compassionate care to patients in their homes, enabling them to remain comfortable. The role involves working to the top of licensure and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- 1+ year of home health or public health nursing experience preferred, OR a combination of education and experience that provides comparable skills
- Home care experience is helpful but not required—we will happily train motivated candidates who are eager to learn
