About The Position

This role coordinates daily operations with the leadership team to ensure the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care for assigned ministries. The Registered Nurse - Administrative Supervisor is responsible for assigning, directing, educating, and monitoring nursing and support staff during their assigned shift. This position serves as a resource to staff, manages patient flow, and provides support and coordination for patient emergencies. The supervisor also opens and leads incident command for internal or external disasters until relieved by an assigned administrative representative, evaluates the effectiveness of patient care, identifies issues affecting patient outcomes, and responds to complaints about patient care, managing them through established channels. Input for hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating staff may also be provided. The role requires working in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
  • Two years' registered nurse experience, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility
  • Behavioral Health (BH) experience required
  • House Supervisor experience required
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) OR Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration OR Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State OR Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN) OR Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services

Responsibilities
