About The Position
Reporting to the facility manager/director of care/nursing unit manager, the Registered Nurse A/RPN is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The Registered Nurse A/RPN has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to delegate appropriately
- Computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Demonstrated understanding of scope of practice of individuals supervised
- Ability to organize work load demands
- Ability to work cooperatively in an integrated interdisciplinary team
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
