About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a Registered MRI Technologist for its Imaging Department at Avita Ontario Hospital. The technologist performs a variety of MRI procedures, adapts MRI protocols to patients’ needs or physicians’ orders, and serves as a primary point of contact for customers. The role is responsible for patient safety in the MRI environment and participates in continuous quality improvement activities. The technologist is expected to continually advance their MRI knowledge and remain familiar with current examinations and those introduced through future technological advancements. The stated schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, with hours subject to variation and weekend and holiday rotation. The position is 80 hours per pay period. A commitment bonus of up to $15,000 is offered.

Requirements

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
Ohio Department of Health (ODH) licensure.
BLS certification, or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
One year of radiologic or imaging experience.

Specific experience and training in CAT/MRI.
