About The Position
Highland House Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join their team immediately. This role involves making a difference in the lives of seniors by accurately administering medications, monitoring residents, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining proper documentation. The position is part of a supportive, interdisciplinary team focused on resident well-being.
Requirements
- Current and valid RMA certification in Virginia
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused
Nice To Haves
- Experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred
Responsibilities
- Accurately administer medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols
- Monitor residents for side effects and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist residents with daily living activities as needed
- Maintain proper documentation and uphold medication safety procedures
- Collaborate with a supportive, interdisciplinary team to promote resident well-being
