About The Position

Spring Arbor Cottages of Salisbury is hiring compassionate and dependable team members to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. If you enjoy caring for seniors and want a position where you can make a difference every shift, we'd love to meet you! As a Medication Aide / Med Tech, you'll help residents feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while supporting their daily needs.

Requirements

• Current Virginia medication aide/medication administration certification or required medication training
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to meet applicable background and company employment requirements

Nice To Haves

• Senior living, Assisted Living, or Memory Care experience preferred
• CNA/PCA experience is a plus
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required based on state regulations
• Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications according to Virginia guidelines
• Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, and other daily needs
• Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the care team
• Maintain accurate resident documentation
• Work closely with nursing and resident care team members
• Provide friendly, compassionate customer service to residents and families
• Participate in resident activities as needed
