About The Position
Lifemark Sport Medicine - Kelowna Mission is seeking a passionate Registered Massage Therapist dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Canadians. As a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, you will empower individuals to overcome challenges, improve their mobility, and achieve their health goals. This role involves developing personalized, evidence-informed care plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, staying current with best practices, utilizing modern tools like e-charting, and educating patients and their families on recovery, prevention, and self-management strategies. Both Full-Time and Part-Time options are available, with compensation structured as 55%-65% Fee For Service. The clinic is located in a quiet, nature-surrounded neighborhood within a recreation centre, offering a welcoming and peaceful environment.
Requirements
- Active license in good standing with your provincial regulatory college.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset.
- Enthusiasm for mentoring, participating in clinic events, and sharing knowledge.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2+ years of clinic experience (preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply!)
Responsibilities
- Develop personalized, evidence-informed care plans to support individual rehabilitation and wellness goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centric care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Build the next generation through mentorship and leadership (as assigned).
- Stay current with best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
- Utilize modern tools, including e-charting and digital communication, to streamline your workflow.
- Educate patients and their families on recovery, prevention, and self-management strategies.
