About The Position

As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic and relaxation massage treatments that support guest wellbeing while delivering an exceptional luxury spa experience. Through professional consultation, personalized treatments, and a strong commitment to wellness, you will ensure every guest feels restored, relaxed, and cared for.

Requirements

  • All professional licenses including CMTBC and first aid must be current
  • Valid liability insurance as required for practice
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic massage techniques and body mechanics
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Professional, compassionate, and wellness-focused approach to guest care
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and in a spa are assets
  • Previous experience in a luxury spa or hospitality environment is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Perform 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 minute massages while accommodating guest’s needs and creating individualized experiences
  • Drive and dedication towards the common goal of Forbes 5 star rating
  • Conduct guest consultations to assess needs, medical history, and treatment goals
  • Develop and deliver personalized treatment plans tailored to each guest
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation as required by regulatory standards
  • Ensure treatment rooms are properly prepared, sanitized, and stocked before and after each service
  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and guest confidentiality
  • Provide a welcoming and professional environment that promotes relaxation and wellbeing
  • Recommend spa services and retail products that support guest wellness goals
  • Collaborate with spa colleagues to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient daily operations
  • Maintain professional licensing and continuing education requirements
  • Follow all spa policies, procedures, and brand standards
  • Work collaboratively with spa colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest service
  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
