Registered/Licensed Practical Nurse - Post Surgical
About The Position
Post-Surgical Services is a 22-bed unit caring for patients recovering from a wide range of planned and unexpected procedures, including orthopedic, general surgery, urology, bariatric, gynecology, plastic, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries. Nurses help patients regain strength, manage pain, and progress through recovery. The team works closely with surgeons, therapy teams, dietitians, and wound care specialists to provide patient-centered care supporting physical healing and emotional recovery. The unit is part of Memorial's Orthopedic Center of Excellence and has contributed to the hospital's Joint Commission Disease-Specific Certifications for total knee and total hip replacements. Teamwork is emphasized, continuing education is encouraged, and nurses are supported in career growth through specialty certifications and professional development.
Requirements
- Active Indiana RN license or valid compact RN license.
