For remote roles, candidates must be located in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MS, MO, MT, NE, NH, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV, WI, WY. This is an entry level position with a career path to becoming a financial planner, preferably a Certified Financial Planner®, and serves as sales and service support for Grow Financial Advisors. This position will increase the knowledge of the successful candidate and improve the efficiency of the overall financial planning program. They will work with members with investment accounts initially with assets under management of less than $50,000. This is a financial planning, sales, and service position and the goals are to increase the number of financial plans presented to our members; increase the volume of sales to the existing book of business; increase the level and quality of service to the members; generate additional referrals from this book of business; and increase the cross sale of credit union products to these members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Finance, Business or related field from an accredited university (or currently pursuing), or equivalent work experience required
  • Series 7, 66 securities licenses and Florida Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required, or ability to obtain within 3 months

Responsibilities

  • Serve as sales and service support for Grow Financial Advisors
  • Increase the number of financial plans presented to our members
  • Increase the volume of sales to the existing book of business
  • Increase the level and quality of service to the members
  • Generate additional referrals from this book of business
  • Increase the cross sale of credit union products to these members
  • Conduct regularly scheduled account reviews with assigned clients to monitor client progress toward client’s goals
