About The Position
Maitland Hospital is seeking Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join their team. This is a rewarding nursing career opportunity located in the heart of the Yorke Peninsula. Nurses will work across acute medical, aged care, and emergency services, providing comprehensive care to all patients. Maitland Hospital provides 24/7 Emergency Department services and has a Renal dialysis Unit. Services are conveniently located under one roof, delivering both acute and aged care, including Transitional Care Services.
Requirements
- Registration or eligibility for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Undergo employment screening.
- Meet immunisation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work across acute medical, aged care, and emergency services, providing comprehensive care to all patients presenting to the hospital.
- Support continuous professional development and build advanced clinical skills across a diverse range of areas, including Renal Dialysis, Radiology, Palliative care, Infection control, and Emergency nursing.
- Utilize advanced clinical skills such as suturing and plastering.
- Provide care within the Renal dialysis Unit, supporting clients three days per week.
- Deliver timely care through the 24/7 Emergency Department services.
