The Renal Dialysis Unit operates as a satellite service, and the hospital has a 24/7 Emergency Department. An integrated model of care is supported by locum doctors and advanced telehealth services, ensuring high-quality care is delivered close to home. The multi-skilled team supports continuous professional development and the opportunity to build advanced clinical skills in areas such as Renal Dialysis, Radiology, Palliative care, Infection control, and Emergency nursing, with opportunities to develop advanced clinical skills like suturing and plastering.
Requirements
- Registration or eligibility for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Undergo employment screening.
- Meet immunisation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work across acute medical, aged care, and emergency services, providing comprehensive care to all patients.
- Support the Renal Dialysis Unit.
- Provide care in the 24/7 Emergency Department.
- Utilize advanced telehealth services.
- Work at the top of their scope.
- Engage in continuous professional development.
- Build advanced clinical skills across a diverse range of areas, including Renal Dialysis, Radiology, Palliative care, Infection control, and Emergency nursing.
- Develop advanced clinical skills such as suturing and plastering.
