About The Position

The Come Grow with Us program supports students pursuing a career in Clinical Dietetics with up to $10,000 in tuition assistance while they complete their master’s degree. Participants receive mentorship and professional growth opportunities and transition into a full-time Clinical Dietitian position after successful program completion. A 24-month employment commitment is required after graduation. A $3,000 hire-on bonus is offered upon joining Health First after graduation, and relocation assistance is available if needed. The Clinical Dietitian II coordinates all phases of nutrition care, including bedside nutrition assessment, nutrition diagnosis, interventions, feeding-tube insertion, monitoring and evaluating outcomes, and counseling clients in a variety of settings. The position supports continuous improvement plans and complies with The Joint Commission and other licensing, accreditation, and regulatory agencies. The schedule is full-time, with shift hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Requirements

Obtain and maintain Florida Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) licensure within 8 months of the start date.
Obtain and maintain the Registered Dietitian (RD) credential within 6 months of the start date.
Hold current AHA BLS certification before the start date and maintain it.
Complete a master's degree as part of the program.
Commit to 24 months of employment after graduation.

Responsibilities

Coordinate nutrition care, including bedside nutrition assessment, nutrition diagnosis, and interventions.
Insert feeding tubes.
Monitor and evaluate nutrition-care outcomes.
Counsel clients in a variety of settings.
Perform duties in support of continuous improvement plans.
Comply with The Joint Commission and other licensing, accreditation, and regulatory agency requirements.
