Registered Dietitian (PRN/Floater)

Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC•Calabasas, CA
•Onsite

About The Position

Monte Nido is seeking a per diem (PRN) Registered Dietitian to float across multiple Southern California locations, including residential programs in Calabasas and Agoura Hills. These programs provide treatment for adolescents and adults with eating disorders and exercise addiction. The Registered Dietitian is a critical member of the leadership and clinical teams and collaborates routinely with other disciplines to achieve optimal client care. Nutrition programming is grounded in health, freedom from eating-disorder behaviors, and developmentally appropriate progress toward self-trust and internally directed eating. The HAES-informed approach recognizes that healthy, recovered people come in all shapes and sizes; that all bodies deserve nourishment and satiety; and that care should focus on behaviors rather than weight. It recognizes weight-loss attempts and weight-focused approaches as contraindicated for recovery, and supports open, accessible, homelike kitchens and food environments. The position is per diem with daytime hours. Pay is $35.33–$49.51 per hour, based on education, credentials, licensure, and experience.
