About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility. The role may lead to a permanent part-time or full-time position. The Registered Dietitian assesses residents’ and patients’ clinical nutrition needs, develops and documents care plans, provides nutrition education and counseling, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support health and well-being. The position may provide coverage at multiple buildings based on company needs and the employee’s preferences.

Requirements

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Hold a certification or license in good standing within the state of practice.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customer requirements.
• For multi-site Registered Dietitians, hold a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations; preferred but not required.
• RD-eligible status and provisional state licensure are accepted in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ and patients’ clinical nutrition needs and develop and document plans in the electronic medical record.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, lab results, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine a plan of care that improves residents’ and patients’ overall health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs and, as desired.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
