About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian/s for skilled care communities. This part-time or consultant role involves an average of 16-24 hours per week, with onsite visits required Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Requirements

  • Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials.
  • Licensed (if required by State).
  • CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required).
  • State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required).
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Enjoyment of coaching and mentoring others.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of consulting experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.
  • 2 years of clinical nutrition experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Improve the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards.
  • Work closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of residents.
  • Provide nutrition education.
  • Work on an MDS with the team.
  • Formulate nutrition assessments with input from the dining manager.
  • Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff.
  • Assist with policy development.
  • Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
