About The Position

Sodexo Senior's segment is seeking a Hybrid Registered Dietitian at Birmingham Green, a 180-bed CCRC in Manassas, Virginia. This role focuses on enriching the lives of Seniors through nutrition and compassionate care with a supportive interdisciplinary team. The position involves working onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely, with flexible shifts available. It may also be eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian credentials and license in Virginia
Attention to detail, and self-starter
Confidence in leading, influencing, and partnering across teams
Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with seniors
Experience in a Skilled Nursing or healthcare nutrition setting
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
3 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian

Responsibilities

Provide clinical nutrition care to long-term care residents
Work onsite 4 days/week and 1 day virtually
Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary team, working closely with nursing & medical staff and attending care conferences as assigned
Conduct quality improvement initiatives such as test trays and meal rounds
Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards
Work collaboratively with onsite dining leadership
