About The Position

Pine Ridge Post Acute is looking for a caring and motivated Registered Dietitian to join our team on a part-time basis! If you’re passionate about helping people feel their best through good nutrition and enjoy working as part of a team, we’d love to meet you!

Requirements

• Active Registered Dietitian registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Current state-required certification/licensure.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate documentation.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and develop individualized nutrition interventions.
• Monitor residents’ nutritional status and progress.
• Complete required nutrition, MDS, and assessment documentation in a timely manner.
• Work closely with nursing, dietary, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Help ensure meals meet residents’ therapeutic needs and food preferences.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, including meal quality and sanitation evaluations.
• Provide nutrition education and support to residents, families, and staff.
• Complete monthly reports, recommendations, audits, and weight-loss tracking.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with the care team to provide excellent resident-centered care.
• Help create a dignified, caring, and positive environment for our residents and their families.
